There are many cosplay convention going on all year round in Japan. Those people like to have their picture taken. Any anime manga convention is also sure to bring a lot of cosplay fans. You have the one who like to dress, and the ones who like to watch and takes load of pictures. Who are those people who like to watch? Would they be interested in seeing more? I asked my classmates why they came all the way down to asia. You can grossly split them in 2 groups, the one who are studying for a career advance, and the one who have been watching anime for years.
